On the occasion of Irreechaa Day we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for all the devoted and diligent efforts you have demonstrated towards preserving and flourishing our Oromummaa, our common culture and identity, in the last consecutive years.
Hence, we will be holding a special ceremony on Sunday at Footscray Park to celebrate the annual Irreechaa Festival so all Oromo community in Victoria, Australia can spend a precious weekend holiday with their families and community members. Let this be one of the Oromo’s small ways of showing our culture and identity to the other world.
